Technological infrastructure of the port allows handling super-ships and container carriers. The port carries out transshipment of containers from all modes of land transport to sea vessels and visa versa.
It is possible to place and store reefer containers with connection to power supply on the territory of the port. Storage and dispatch of containers with dangerous cargo.

Key features of the port
Features
Marine terminals of the port are located on the south coast of the central part of the Golden Horn Bay and are well protected from all wind directions. It allows handling marine vessels all year round in all weather and ice conditions.
Marine terminals
For transshipment of cargoes transported by rail, a railway siding has been built within the territory of the port. The territorial location of the port near Cape Churkin station provides a number of advantages for organising dispatches by rail on an accelerated schedule.
Railway siding
The entire territory of the port is a customs control zone with the possibility to transshipment and place export and import cargo in containers on a specialised port site. Reefer containers can be connected to power supply.
Transshipment of export-import cargoes
The port possesses a general permit of the permanent customs control zone, which allows all types of customs operations to be carried out promptly.
PCCZ (Permanent Customs Control Zone)
Accounting for cargo operations on container handling and storage is carried out in the port information system. The use of the information system allows all transportation process participants to track operational information on the handling and movement of containers at any convenient time.
